The Middle School reader is based on my adult fiction books titled the same, only slightly different.
The main character is a thirteen year old female whose mother owns the White House Dollhouse store set in south Minneapolis. The first in the series is Spangled to Pieces. The store owner and daughter are distantly related to Dolley Madison. In this first in the four book series, Beth and her friend Connie, are out to locate the original manuscript of the Star Spangled Banner. Will they locate it before a known criminal does?
